Foundations of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (VCH Leaders)
This course is a part of VCH Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) training intended to help increase our awareness of inclusion literacy, understanding unconscious bias and cross-cultural competency.
In this session, participants will gain a foundational understanding of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) in the workplace. The purpose is to explain how EDI principles build an inclusive work culture.
Workshops in this EDI training (We recommend that the workshops are attending the following orders):
- Foundations of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
- Understanding and Disrupting Bias
- Importance of a Trauma Informed Lens
- How to be an Ally
- Unconscious Bias for Hiring Managers
All participants must complete Foundations of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion before attending any of the other workshops.
