This virtual session turns to the hidden forces that influence care. Together, we will unpack bias and microaggressions, explore the science and roots of bias, and consider how these unconscious patterns shape decisions and patient interactions. Participants will leave with practical strategies to recognize, interrupt, and mitigate bias in both patient care and workplace contexts, supporting more inclusive and equitable healthcare environments.

Pre-requisite: Session 1 - Advancing Health Equity: The Goal of PHSA

This session is delivered as a component of the course From Intention to Outcome: Equity in Healthcare.
