PHSA - DEI - From Intention to Outcome: Equity in Healthcare

Every patient's story is shaped by the systems around them. Sometimes those systems foster healing and inclusion; other times, they create barriers rooted in inequities, bias, and historical power imbalances. This course invites participants to reflect on how diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) can move from good intentions to meaningful outcomes in healthcare.

This virtual course is offered in both 4-hour and 2-hour formats. You may complete the training in whichever format best fits your schedule; both options cover the same content.

Please choose one format and complete the sessions in sequential order. Click on the session titles below to view schedules, details, and register.

Note: If you can’t attend the full course or a scheduled session, please cancel by emailing askdei@phsa.ca at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a fee ($75 in-person / $50 online).
