PHSA - DEI - Session 2 (3hrs): Power Dynamics in Healthcare and Workplace Culture

This virtual session explores how privilege and power influence relationships in workplaces and healthcare settings. Through real-world examples, participants will gain understanding of intersectionality—seeing how individuals belonging to multiple marginalized identities may experience injustice and discrimination in numerous ways. Together, we will apply strategies that promote equity and support more inclusive and culturally responsive environments.

Pre-requisite: Session 1 (3hrs): How Racism is normalized in Healthcare and Workplace Culture

This session is delivered as a component of the course Racism in Healthcare and Workplace Culture.
