Coaching for Growth - Face to Face
This course is a 2 day course with 3 triad learning labs and registrants are required to attend all sessions. Please note face-to-face class sessions are from 0900-1600 with learning labs scheduled in between each session.

Coaching for Growth - VIRTUAL
The virtual course is a 4 module course with 4 triad learning labs and registrants are required to attend all sessions. Please note all virtual class sessions are from 1230-1530 with learning labs scheduled in between each session.

Coaching for Growth takes leaders on a deep dive into the power of utilizing a coach-approach in their work with individuals and teams. As participants explore and practice the foundations of
coaching, they will strengthen their leadership effectiveness and ability to communicate
effectively, listen deeply, engage with curiosity and take a strengths-focused approach.

Why Participate?

  • Leaders will learn how to encourage and uplift themselves and their teams, engage in meaningful coaching conversations using an evidence-based framework, and provide feedback in ways that build capacity and facilitate growth.
  • Participants will develop new ways to foster and sustain a collaborative environment where team members feel valued, empowered to contribute and committed to exploring differences, while working towards a shared purpose.


Disclaimer

People Development offers two programs for developing coaching skills:

  • Core Coaching Skills – a one-day introductory workshop for staff at all levels seeking a practical foundation.
  • Coaching for Growth (formerly Coaching Out of the Box) – a deep dive for leaders in supervisory roles who want to develop and apply coaching skills to lead individuals and teams.

Important Note

To ensure equitable access and the best learning experience, we kindly ask that you register for only one program at a time. The content across both programs is similar, so participating in both simultaneously is not recommended.

Furthermore, we do not recommend taking Coaching for Growth before Core Coaching Skills, as this reverses the intended learning progression. If you are eligible and plan to complete both programs, please start with Core Coaching Skills workshop and allow at least nine months before participating in the Coaching for Growth program.

Point of Care Leaders, Non-Clinical Equivalent and above:
Point of Care leaders such as PCC, RCC, CPL, Incharge
nurse, CNE, CRN, Clinical Mentors, Regional
