Implicit Bias and Decision-Making
The prerequisite for this course is Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Basics. There are two options this course is offered. Please complete one of the following prior to registering for this course.
Option 1: DEI Basics In Person - 1 full day session
Option 2: DEI Basics Online - 2 x 1/2 day sessions
If you've taken DEI basics this course will begin building off that information and will take a deep dive into Unconscious Bias by unpacking micro-aggressions and stereotypes and how they feed into behaviors like prejudice and discrimination.
The second half of the workshop will focus on applying awareness of implicit biases to the workplace by exploring how implicit bias impacts decision-making.
Sign up to build competencies in cultural and anti-racist sensitivity and empathy.
