Discover the meaning behind “DEI” as we delve into Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as concepts and their ultimate outcome, Belonging. This workshop will explore DEI with a focus on supporting participants’ exploration of self-identity, social location, and intersectionality.
The day will wrap up with an introduction to implicit bias and micro-aggressions.
Join us to get started on your DEI journey and build cultural and anti-racism competencies.
This workshop is a pre-requisite for all other DEI sessions.
Cancellations and No-shows: For accountability purposes, a cancellation fee of $75 (in-person sessions) and $50 (online sessions) will be charged through your department codes unless you cancel in writing to askdei@phsa.ca up to 48 business hours (two business days) before your session.
