Violence Prevention – PVPC Refresher – Island Health

This 45-60 minute scenario based session provides an opportunity to practice violence prevention skills taught in PVPC Classroom.
These sessions focus on the core competencies of the PVPC and highlight site-specific Code White Response Plans.

All high-risk department employees at Island Health. Employees in high risk departments are required to complete this course annually beginning the calendar year after completing PVPC Classroom.

All sessions are in-person unless marked virtual
IN PERSON: Physical participation is required for this course. Please wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear such as running shoes. Do not wear heels, flip-flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes.
VIRTUAL: Please contact your Instructor if you have not received session information within 48 hours of the start time.
