Privacy and Security 101

This is the mandatory Privacy and Security 101 online course.

Further to the PHSA Privacy and Confidentiality Policy, all staff must complete the course and sign the Confidentiality Acknowledgement included within the course. Private practice physicians and their employees who will be provided with access to CareConnect must also complete the course and sign the Confidentiality Acknowledgement prior to access being granted.

“Staff” includes all employees, researchers, physicians, health care professionals, and volunteers engaged by PHSA or British Columbia Lower Mainland health care organizations with which PHSA has concluded a services agreement. PHSA managers and leaders are accountable for verifying that staff they are responsible for have completed the course.
