Recognizing and Responding to Adult Abuse

This is a general awareness program for all individuals in a care-giving capacity or who work in a healthcare setting, who come into contact with adults, and particularly older adults. This course will help you to recognize, prevent and respond to adult abuse and neglect in home and community care settings. Self-neglect by adults also occurs, but is very complex and requires different responses. It is not covered in this general module.
