  1. Describe why effective communication strategies are important
  2. Define de-escalation
  3. Describe how to help prevent violence and help de-escalate a person having an emotional crisis with:
    o Non-verbal communication
    o Vocal communication
    o Verbal communication

All healthcare employees in Low, Medium and High Risk Departments.

This module should take 20 minutes to complete.
