• Pharmacy technicians and assistants who prepare chemotherapy in the sterile preparation room
• Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who check chemotherapy products compounded in the sterile preparation room

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

• Describe engineering controls for cleanrooms, biologic safety cabinets, and HD compounding
• Contrast the techniques used for compounding HD versus non-HD products
• Identify hazardous waste disposal procedures
