Upon completing this course, learners should have an in-depth understanding of the certificate of incapability process and should be:

  • Able to follow and implement the key steps in the process
  • Aware of the roles and responsibilities of each of the people involved
  • Confident in their ability to act as a qualified health care provider or health authority designate
  • Able to ensure that all the required legal processes are followed
  • Capable of applying best practices to their role
