PHSA - BCCH - Movement Disorders in Children

This course for the classification and assessment of movement disorders is based on the consensus recommendations of the NIH Childhood Movement Disorders Task Force.
The course has been designed for use by therapists across British Columbia as a means to:
- Increase our understanding of movement disorders in children
- Create a common language around the description of movement disorders in children
- Increase our ability to assess, identify and modify treatments for children with movement disorders
- Provide a teaching and orientation tool for PT/OT students and therapists working in paediatrics
