PHSA - WHS - Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety

This course will provides staff with the foundations needed to help prevent workplace injuries and illnesses from occurring. It also aids in the development a safety culture in the workplace.

Topics include:

• Occupational health and safety rights and responsibilities
• Principles of incident/injury prevention
• What to do after a workplace injury or illness

PHSA manager/supervisors can direct their new staff to take this training as part of the required health & safety orientation.

PHSA manager/supervisors should complete this course before enrolling in Occupational Health and Safety for Leaders training.
