VCH - Difficult Debriefing Workshop

The general purpose of the course is to provide tools for intermediate-level simulation facilitators who are faced with difficult debrief situations. The workshop explores the various factors that affect a post-simulation debrief and how to manage potentially challenging situations.

The workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to:

Explore many influencing factors on a debrief
Develop a deeper understanding of psychological safety
Identify strategies for managing a potentially difficult debrief
Practice utilizing the difficult debrief tool

Please note – this workshop does not include managing clinical event debriefing**
