PHSA - BCEHS - DEI - 400: Session 5/5
Ethical Leadership in the age of AI
Focus: Navigate the promises and complexities of AI to ensure ethical usage and leadership. As AI becomes increasingly embedded in our contemporary life and work, leaders must navigate both its transformative potential and its complex ethical, social, and environmental implications. In this course, leaders will engage with critical tools needed to understand AI’s opportunities and limitations. Participants will explore human-centered and environmental ethics and examine how systemic biases become encoded into AI systems. Through reflective and practical activities, leaders will analyze how AI shapes decision-making across individual, interpersonal, and organizational levels, and develop strategies for responsible, equity-centered AI integration in their workplaces. This course aims to support leaders in using AI intentionally and ethically to strengthen, rather than undermine, human dignity, community wellbeing, and inclusive workplace cultures.
This session is delivered as a component of the course Inclusive leadership in unpredictable times: Heart work and hard work.
