Course Prerequisites
This self-paced eLearning course (1–1.5 hours total) equips leaders with practical strategies to foster psychologically safe and healthy workplaces. Building on the Part 1 pre-requisite (Introduction to Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace), this course explores how to integrate the CSA National Standard and psychosocial risk factors into everyday leadership practices.
Leaders will learn how to:
Understand psychosocial risk factors to reduce risks and promote well-being.
Embed inclusive, trauma-informed leadership that integrates Indigenous cultural safety, reconciliation, and equity.
Facilitate psychologically safe conversations and foster civility and respect.
Recognize and respond to psychological injury and early signs of distress.
Demonstrate commitment to safe, inclusive leadership through everyday actions.
By the end of this course, you will be prepared to lead with heart, compassion and confidence, creating environments that support mental health, resilience, and equity across your teams.
