403 - Cerner Outpatient Scheduling (BCCH & BCWH)

Staff working in Outpatient clinics using CW CERNER LEGACY system (Not CST)
Pre-requisites for Cerner Scheduling Appointment Book are: 101 - PowerChart Basics (BCCH & BCWH) online and CW Cerner: 402 Outpatient/Inpatient Registration (Sustainment) .
Please note: the 402 Registration online course is a pre-requisite to taking the Scheduling course as EMPI search is covered in this course only.

This Scheduling course includes:

  1. Scheduling and managing patient appointments using the Cerner Scheduling application SchApptbk.
  2. Creating and modifying outpatient encounters.
  3. Scheduling reports.
    (Classroom 3.25 hours.)

403 Cerner Outpatient Scheduling will be held remotely via ZOOM.

Any staff involved in the booking of patient appointments in the CW CERNER LEGACY computer system, in Outpatient clinics not included in the CST activation.

What you will need for the class:
• Computer at the clinic, connected to the hospital network. Your manager will set you up with a space. (dual monitors are helpful,
DO NOT use a laptop unless there is a monitor and mouse)
• Private space for conversation. (headphones if no private space available)
