PHSA - PPHIS - Documenting Immunizations in ImmsBC: Create Immunization Record

This course will prepare learners to follow system standards and practices when documenting in the ImmsBC system. Learners will be able to differentiate between documentation workflows and demonstrate their understanding of the Create Immunization Record pathway.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

• Differentiate between the "Create Immunization Record" and "Check in Client" buttons
• Demonstrate a client search using the Global Search bar
• Describe how to view and document alerts
• Describe the process for obtaining valid informed consent
• Explain clinical information that can be created in ImmsBC
• Demonstrate creating and end dating a deferral
• Document clinical information within the CIR workflow, and
• Describe how to enter a medical intervention
