PHSA - PC - PHS - Foundations: Integrating Psychological Health and Safety into the Workplace
This workshop provides foundational knowledge and practical tools for fostering a psychologically healthy and safe work environment. Participants will explore the concept of psychological health and safety, understand the 4 stages of psychological safety, examine the risks and benefits of psychological safety & workplace culture, and reflect on current and potential practices to enhance psychological safety.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the National Standard for Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace and how it guides healthy organizational culture.
- Recognize the risks and benefits associated with psychological safety, including how it influences employee well being and performance.
- Explore the four stages of psychological safety, based on Timothy Clarkâs framework, and how they show up in day to day team dynamics.
- Reflect on current and potential leadership practices that can strengthen psychological safety in the workplace.
