VCH Medical Leader Orientation (2.5 CME Credits)

The VCH Medical Leader Orientation has been designed to support VCH Medical Leaders in their new leadership role. High-level, regional information is organized into a phased-approach delivery, with the goal of setting expectations and understanding of where to go for additional information. The content was developed in partnership with Medical Leaders and VCH subject matter experts and is complimentary to both the Medical Staff Orientation and local onboarding processes.

This Orientation is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program (MOC) of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by UBC CPD. You may claim a maximum of 2.5 hours MOC Section 3 Self-Assessment hours (credits are automatically calculated). This one-credit-per-hour assessment program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by UBC CPD for up to 2.5 Mainpro+ Assessment credits. Each physician should claim only those credits accrued through participation in the activity.

The VCH Medical Leader Orientation has been created for Medical Leaders who are within 90 days of their new leadership role, or who will be taking on a leadership position within VCH.
