PHSA - BCR - PROMIS Modality Selection

Course Objective

This course is intended for renal clerks and nurses working in dialysis units across BC to equip them with the knowledge of what modality selection is and how to capture modality selection information in PROMIS.

Course Description and Modules Covered

This course includes a demonstration on:

• Introduction to the Modality Selection screen.

• Navigating to the Modality Selection module.

• Capturing information in the different sections of the Modality Selection screen (Reason for Modality Selection, Assessment, Treatment Options, Education Type, Education Attempts, Patient's Dialysis, Transplant Decisions, Independent Dialysis Referrals, Chronic Dialysis Start Date and Started Dialysis of Choice).
