Introducing Foundations of Literature Reviews: A Practical Guide

The purpose of this webinar is to support attendees in planning to craft their own literature reviews. The series of online workshops will utilize a learner-centered design where we will work to meet the needs of the cohort. This will include background on the types of literature reviews, reviewing the methodology behind literature reviews, accessing literature, critically appraising literature, and writing/publishing a manuscript.

This first webinar will contain a high-level overview of the intentions of this course with subsequent sessions aimed at those committed to working on their own projects throughout the duration. This webinar is intended as an introduction to the series; there is no obligation to continue on.

The course is being offered by Clinical Librarian Andrea Ryce and Clinician Scientist Miranda Amundsen. It is geared towards those who have not had a lot of experience in constructing literature reviews or those who want to explore different methodologies. Please note that priority registration will be given to staff at BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre.

All sessions will be held online and the link will be sent one day prior to your registered session.
