PHSA - BCCH - ML - Introduction to 3-Dimensional Computerized Gait Analysis
This course is intended for students in physiotherapy, biomechanical engineering, medicine, prosthetics, and orthotics, along with medical residents, fellows, and physicians.
After completing this course, learners will be able to:
- Distinguish scenarios when Computerized Gait Analysis (CGA) is indicated versus standard assessment techniques (observational gait analysis)
- Recognize how data are collected in CGA
- Understand the process for data interpretation in CGA
- Utilize gait analysis data in the assessment of common gait pathology in children
