This external BCIT course will provide focused education to prepare and advance frontline health care workers with the recent surge of acutely ill pediatric patients with respiratory-related presentations.

  • Pediatric anatomy and physiology

  • Respiratory care
  • Pediatric circulation
  • Special considerations for pediatric transport

All health authority health care professionals and providers who are working with acutely ill pediatric patients and require advanced skill development in pediatric acute respiratory presentations. Roles include health authority nurses, RT's, PT's, providers, and students.
