Virtual Learning Event: Improving Patient Outcomes in Healthcare: Building Bridges with Relationship-Focused Care

The session will:
• Introduce the Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative Competency Framework
• Define Relationship-Focused Care and its relevance to healthcare settings
• Explore cultural safety, health literacy and shared decision making
• Apply relationship-focused care to a scenario in a small group case study activity
• Reflect on utilization in future practice

By the end of this session, one should be able to define, describe and apply the tools learned and adapt them to one’s workplace setting.
