Virtual Learning Event: Improving Patient Outcomes in Healthcare: Bridging Care Through Communication

The session will:
 Provide an overview of the National Interprofessional Competency Framework
 Define Team Communication & relevance to healthcare settings
 Disseminate different communication tools
 Apply Communication Tools in a small group Case Study activity
 Discuss how these tools can be used in future practice settings
 Introduce the Learning in and From Teams (LIFT) tool

By the end of this session, one should be able to define, describe and apply the tools learned and adapt them to one’s workplace setting.

Presenters: This session is developed and delivered by Year 4 Bachelor of Science in Nursing students.
