PHSA - BCR - PROMIS Social Worker

Course Objective

The Renal Social Worker course is intended for social workers working in renal units across BC. This course covers navigation and viewing of renal patient information in PROMIS, as well as the capture of advanced care planning and notes in integrated assessment.

Course Description and Modules Covered

This course uses a "show and navigate" approach to review:

• Patient Search.
• Patient Overview screen.
• Labs.
• Diagnostic Results.
• Patient Infectious Status and Immunization History.
• Medications.

This course also includes a demonstration on capturing:

• Care Providers.
• Advanced Care Planning records.
• Notes in Integrated Assessment, signing a note and amending a signed note.
