PHSA - BCR - PROMIS Clerk Basics HD

Course Objective

PROMIS HD Clerk Basics is intended for clerks working in hemodialysis units in hospitals and CDUs across BC. Clerks will be able to register, capture and maintain records of hemodialysis patients in PROMIS.

This course includes demonstrations on the following topics:

• Registering Hemodialysis patients in PROMIS.
• Enrolling HD patients in renal programs and centres.
• Adding Demographics and Care Providers details.
• Moving a Pre-Dialysis patient to Hemodialysis.
• Temporarily moving a patient from one dialysis centre to another.
• Capturing Dialysis details in Modality Selection and Dialysis Status.
• Entering Dialysis Prescriptions.
• Scheduling Permanent and Temporary Hemodialysis patients in centres.
• Entering Dialysis Access and Assessment information.
• Capturing Physical Exam, Infectious Status, Medications and Anemia Therapy Initiation records.
• Generating Reports related to Labs and Medications.
