Finance 101 for Leaders

Dean Smyth, Director Financial Planning ＆ Business Support (Coastal) and Marvin Opeka, Manager, Financial Planning and Business Support (Corporate), will be facilitating this in-person workshop. This is an interactive, hands-on workshop where each participant is encouraged to ask questions about their own cost centre and labour budget reports. Dean and Marvin will spend time discussing budget variances and how to access reports within PeopleSoft.

The last hour of this in person workshop will be spent 1:1 with a team of Financial Planning and Business Support Managers.

1. Please note this workshop is in-person:

• To fully participate in this workshop, participants are required to bring a laptop and must have access to reports in PeopleSoft.
• Complementary coffee/tea will be available
• Once registered, the location will be provided in the calendar invite that will be send to you
• Please arrive early in order to find parking
