Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Learning Lab

This Learning Lab is a part of VCH Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) training intended to help increase our awareness of inclusion literacy, understanding unconscious bias and cross-cultural competency.

Join the EDI Learning Lab to build a community of support for individuals wanting to implement EDI in the workplace. This facilitated learning lab is designed as a supportive session to connect participants to share real challenges with EDI, and exchange learnings with peers and expert practitioners.

Bring an issue you are facing with EDI or attend to be part of the conversation. From this session, you can take away practical feedback and ideas for your own challenges as well as learn more about EDI.

This 90-minute session is open to staff and leaders who have completed all of the foundational EDI courses*:

• Foundations Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
• Taking Action towards Anti-Racism
• Understanding and Disrupting Bias
• Importance of a Trauma Informed Lens
• How to be an Ally

*Note: course titles were slightly different if you completed these courses prior to Fall 2022

You can attend the learning labs multiple times, however, you can only register for one session at a time on Learning Hub. If you want to attend multiple Learning Labs mark the date you would like to attend in your calendar. After you attended a session, you will be able to register for the next session.
