Strengthen Your Core! Palliative Competencies
Strengthen Your Core! is a program by the BC Centre for Palliative Care about the Palliative Core Competencies. It includes 8 modules, one for each of the core competency domains.
The Domain 1: Principles of Palliative Care and Palliative Approach module is a pre-requisite for the other 7 modules.
As a follow up to the module, interactive ECHO sessions, Flexing Your Core, are being hosted by the BCCPC. Learners will have the opportunity to take part in various activities to further their practical understanding of each Domain. The intended audience is health care providers and students who are not familiar with palliative care and a palliative approach. They provide direct care for people with life-limiting illness in any health care setting. |
