Introduction to Zoom for Healthcare (online course)

This interactive course is designed to empower you in using the features of Zoom the appropriate Zoom features to provide safe and accessible virtual health care. This course is designed in a way for you to learn only what you need. Complete the modules that are relevant to you at your own pace.

  Module 1 includes how to:

 • Join a Zoom virtual health visit as an attendee via an email invitation OR meeting ID by connecting through the web browser, desktop, or mobile application.

 • Assign scheduling privileges to someone else

 • Schedule a virtual health visit on behalf of someone else

 • Customize your profile and settings (e.g. title, picture, virtual background, audio/video) from the web browser, desktop, and mobile application

 • Navigate in-meeting controls as a participant, and explore additional controls available to hosts

 • Recognize what a privacy breach in Zoom looks like, and learn additional steps to protect your virtual health visit and what do to in the event of a privacy breach

 • Schedule a Zoom Virtual Health Visit from the web browser, desktop, and mobile application.



  Module 2 includes how to use:

 • Recording features for PHSA approved use cases

 • Collaboration features in a group setting (e.g. patient education sessions)

 • Accessibility features (e.g. live transcript, closed caption, interpretation)
