The Manager Development Program (MDP) is a 4-month, in-person (Changed from Abbotsford to Central City), cohort-based leadership development program designed to support new and developing managers to successfully navigate their roles.

Program Includes:

• Cross-organizational peer network expansion
• Learning & application of coach-like skills throughout

Program Consists Of:

• 6 full days of in-person workshops
• Pre- and post-work assignments via MyLearning
• Triad connections throughout
• Sponsor support for participation & success
• Optional 1:1 program coaching service

Please Note:

• Attendance of all 6 sessions is required for completion
• Plan to invest 2–4 additional hours/month (pre/post work, triads, sponsor conversations)

Managers who meet all the following criteria:

  • Be in a permanent manager role (or role equivalent with an alternate title)
  • Or hold Regional Division Head, Local Department Head, and/or similar level positions.
  • Medical Leaders are also included.
  • Have direct reports and budget responsibilities.
  • Have 3 - 18 months minimum tenure in the role
  • Be supported by a sponsor/director for the duration of the program.
  • Ideally, have completed New Manager Orientation/Manager Essentials
    If you are a candidate who has spent time in an interim manager role and you seem destined for a permanent position, please discuss your potential participation with your director.
