Community New Educator Orientation
These workshops are virtual - a link will be included in your registration email.
Community New Educator Orientation (NEO) is a 2-part workshop specifically for community-based Clinical Resource/Educators (CE, CRE, CRNs). Each session (3A & 3B) is 2 hours.
It is recommended, though not required, to take these workshops in order.
Community NEO workshops offer the opportunity to network with other new Community Educators, while exploring topics such as adult learning principles, feedback, learning plans, moving into a leadership role, and developing education.
Additional Note: The VCH New Educator Orientation Site provides access to regionally developed Educator Modules that complement the Community NEO 3A/B workshops. These online modules are available to take at any time.
Community-based Nurses and Allied Health Professionals in a Clinical Resource/Educator role or those who have a significant education component to their role. |
