LTC-HOPE Modules
These two modules address strategies to alleviate staff stress and burnout related to resident death and dying in LTC. Strategies are based on two previous completed research projects by the same team members in which staff identified their needs and recommendations. Subject matter experts (SMEs) provided input into the module development.
Objectives: Staff will learn strategies they can implement individually and in teams.


All clinical staff in Long Term Care (LTC): includes all interdisciplinary staff (all registered nurses including clinical nurse leaders, registered psychiatric nurses and palliative care nurses; resident care aides; physical therapists; occupational therapists; registered dietitians; spiritual health practitioners; rehabilitation assistants; speech and language pathologists; music therapists; social workers; arts and crafts workers; unit coordinators, pharmacists, psychologists and physicians)
