This course is an orientation to the TelePICU initiative which connects clinicians supporting patients in local hospitals (spoke sites) in real-time to Pediatric Intensivists and an interdisciplinary team of clinicians at BC Children's Hospital PICU (Hub). This connection uses audio and video telehealth technology. This training covers:

  • TelePICU Clinical Workflow and Patient Consent
  • Virtual Care Clinical Guidelines
  • Troubleshooting Techniques
