RPACE Advanced Training: A Deeper Dive into Serious Illness Conversations

These workshops are designed for those who would like to advance their practice with the Serious Illness Conversation either in their own clinical practice or as part of their leadership role.

There are two available Advanced Training RPACE courses. Staff within leadership roles are encouraged to take both.

In "Deeper Dive into SICs", group discussion and strategies from the Serious Illness Care Program's Clinician Reference Guide will work to support clinicians with challenges associated with SICs.

We highly encourage leadership team members to take both sessions. Staff providing direct clinical care may consider only taking the course "A Deeper Dive into Challenging Scenarios" to support their practice but are welcome to join us in both sessions.
