Introduction to Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace

Welcome to the "Introduction To Psychological Health & Safety In the Workplace" course for PHSA and BCEHS employees.

Psychological health and safety in the workplace is mostly about how we treat each other. Creating psychological health and safety at work is a shared responsibility between individual employees, leaders, teams, and the larger organization.

This course will introduce the National Standard for Psychological Health & Safety in the workplace and will cover the psychosocial factors identified to have the greatest impact in the workplace, as well the responsibilities of the employees, leaders, and the employer. Lastly, participants will be provided with a list of resources and links that are available to support PHSA staff, which you may want to keep for future reference.

Note:

  • BCEHS employees will be eligible to receive 0.5 CE credits available upon course completion
  • If unable to complete this course in one sitting, you have the option to save your progress before exiting the course
