SafeCare Perinatal Substance Use

SafeCare (Perinatal Substance Use) Online Modules is the self-paced, online course. You are welcome to complete any of the modules you choose, in any order. Getting a record of completion for this course is optional, but to attain the optional record of completion, you must complete the following modules:

-Trauma and Violence Informed Practice
-Substance Use & Harm Reduction
-Indigenous Cultural Safety
-Conclusion & Assessment

While, everyone completes these activities at different paces, we anticipate it will take 4-6 hours to complete all of the modules, and the activities. All videos are optional, although other employees who have taken the course, highly recommend them.

Accreditation/Certification statement The Division of Continuing Professional Development, University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Continuing Medical Education Accreditation Committee (CACME) to provide CPD credits for physicians.
