PHSA - BCCDC - COVID-19 Immunization Competency Course
Reminder: LearningHub is only to be used by those working and studying in British Columbia under a BC health authority.
This course was last updated on October 1, 2025 and reflects the information relating to the 2025/2026 COVID-19 immunization program.
This is a condensed immunization competency course for all new vaccine providers including nurses (RNs, RPNs, LPNs) who are new to immunizing without an order (i.e., within autonomous scope of practice) and participating in the COVID-19 Vaccine Campaign.
Please note that providers who have recently completed the BCCDC Immunization Competency Course are not required to take this course; however, are recommended to view the BCCDC COVID-19 Immunization Webinar for COVID-19 vaccine-specific education.
For LPNs, the BCCDC COVID-19 Immunization Competency Course meets the BCCNM’s additional education requirement (condition) for LPNs to autonomously administer the COVID-19 vaccine.
