Mental Health Act - Information Sessions

Knowing your responsibilities as a physician, leader, admin or health care provider can be overwhelming, confusing and challenging when the Mental Health Act of BC is involved. This interactive webinar will provide a basic understanding of the legislation of the Act, responsibilities for the care staff, and rights of the patient, and other processes related to the Act.

This webinar is an alternative to the established Mental Health Act – Island Health (online) e-module (course 11716) and will be recognized as completion of the baseline education requirement when verified by answering a short, password-protected quiz on the LearningHub (password is provided at the close of the Zoom Webinar).

For further supplemental information please see also MHA Mini sessions (course #24954) for topic-specific presentations.
