NHA - RAI - RAI 2.0: RAI-MDS 2.0 (for long-term care assessors)
RAI 2.0 Assessor Education curriculum provides licensed health professionals who are registered with a Professional College in British Columbia, (such a licensed practical nurses or occupational therapists) working in long-term care homes with the information needed to support use of the RAI-MDS 2.0 assessment and planning tool in their long-term care home.
This curriculum is composed of self-directed e-learning modules that allow learners to complete the curriculum at their own pace.
Licensed health professionals (LPN, RN, RPN, OT, PT etc) who work in long-term care homes (with publicly-subsidized beds) in British Columbia. |

Course participants MUST have a copy of the RAI-MDS 2.0 User Manual (February 2012 edition) available to them for this curriculum. Speak with your manager or clinical educator about how to access the RAI-MDS 2.0 User Manual. In Northern Health copies can be ordered from Document Source, order number #21104. All additional required resources are included in modules. Instructions on use of the interRAI licensed software used in your health authority is not included in this curriculum. |
