PHSA COVID-19 Guidelines and Procedures

PHSA has transitioned to communicable disease plans and incorporated COVID-19 into the Exposure Control Plan for Clinical Areas. As of October 2021, the following courses have been closed and are no longer required education for new employees:
• PHSA COVID-19 Overview (#23618)
• PHSA COVID-19 Guidelines & Procedures (#23492)

Please advise your onboarding personnel or your leader of this change and request to update your team’s training instructions.

Several guidelines and procedures have been developed as part of PHSA’s COVID-19 Safety Plan to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. These guidelines and procedures can also be found on PHSA’s Shared Health Organizations Portal (SHOP) http://shop.healthcarebc.ca/

We will continue to monitor our workplaces and update our guidelines and procedures as needed. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these documents, please discuss with your leader or contact returntoworkplace@phsa.ca.
