Radiation Safety Foundations provides the learner with information to work safely in and around Medical Imaging areas. The course covers recognizing rooms with hazards and following warning signs in X-ray, Nuclear Medicine and MRI areas. Also covered are regulatory agencies, who to contact before entering an area and who to contact in case of a hazardous condition.
This course is only intended for support services staff who work in and X-ray, Nuclear Medicine and MRI activities. For example: FMO, Security, Housekeeping, Porters, Warehouse and Distribution This course is NOT intended for clinical and administrative staff. |
