Course Description
Caring for wounds is about more than just providing wound care. You must identify the eitiology because if the cause of the wound is not treated, healing cannot occur.
To optimize the conditions for healing, you must also consider a variety of factors and risks that have the potential to impede healing.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this module you will be able to analyze the information collected from a holistic assessment and determine:
• Wound etiology.
• The patient’s goals of care.
• Factors that may be impeding wound healing.
