Course Description

The Nova StatStrip Glucose Meter is intended for in vitro measurement of glucose in whole blood, to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes control.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Identify the device components and features.
  • Perform quality control and patient tests.
  • Interpret and record results.
  • Clean up after patient testing.
  • Recognize and address limitations of test accuracy.
  • Understand competency and proficiency testing requirements.
