Exploring Gender Diversity: for businesses and public

This introductory Trans Care BC training is designed for anyone who works with people in businesses, services, and non-profits that are not related to health care, mental health, or social work.*

The goal of this course is to support you in providing inclusive, welcoming, and affirming services for transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse Two-Spirit individuals accessing your services.

This training explores:

1. Key terms and concepts related to gender diversity
2. Barriers to services that gender diverse people commonly face
3. Simple strategies for creating accessible and affirming services

This course provides a certificate of completion.

Course fee: This course is offered at $20 for learners who are not employees of a publicly-funded Health Authority within British Columbia. The collection of course fees directly contributes to the development of new online trainings and resources offered by Trans Care BC.
