Part1: Introduction to a Palliative Approach to Care

Because of the unpredictable nature of chronic/ life-threatening illnesses, integrating a palliative approach to care should not be dependent on prognosis but responsive to people’s wishes, values and goals. The outcomes of these conversations will play a valuable part in guiding your health care team to support and respect what matters most to individuals and their families.
