Standing Transfer - Bed to Chair/Commode

This course will introduce learners to the Standing Transfer - Bed to Chair/Commode transfer method, which is recommended for a patient who:
• Can bear weight on both legs
• Requires minimal physical assistance to stand
• Can follow directions
• Can take steps

If any of these criteria are not met, a mechanical lift must be used.
